Spend a delightful morning in the company of elephants, and learn how these gentle giants once played a vitally important role in Thai history in the king’s army. This tour, which includes hotel transfers, also takes you to an orchid farm displaying some of the most magnificent blooms in the country.

During the visit to the elephant camp, you’ll see demonstrations of the traditional techniques once used to train these magnificent animals for their role in the king’s army.

You won’t fail to be amazed at the delicacy and precision shown by the elephants, despite their huge size.

On the return journey, you’ll stop off at an orchid farm which boasts a huge variety of colourful year-round blooms.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped-off at your hotel.

Duration: The duration of this tour is around 3 hours for  visit to the Maesa Elephant Camp in the Maesa Valley outside Chang Mai.

Departure Location: This tour includes pick-up from centrally-located Chiang Mai hotels.

Departure Time: Hotel pick-up between 8-8.30am approximately. Tour start time is 8.30am.

Inclusions: Hotel transfers and English speaking guide.
