Secret Lagoon and Northern Lights Hunt

Come and take part in this fantastic two part tour that combines the Secret Lagoon (hush!) and the Northern Lights. So you can relax in the hot spring whilst taking in the surrounding nature before going on the hunt for the famous Northern Lights!

On this tour you will be able to experience the rugged charm of an Icelandic open air geothermal bath, sample delicious food in a buffet-style dinner and head on for a journey to hunt the Northern Lights.

The Secret Lagoon (as seen in Rick Stein’s Long Weekends) is the oldest natural pool in Iceland, and one of Iceland’s best kept secrets, where the water stays at a constant temperature of between 38 - 40 degrees Celsius. Around it there are several hot spots that can be found due to the new walk way that has been built for you to take a closer look at these boiling hot springs. This is a fantastic alternative to the much busier and very touristic Blue Lagoon.

From the Secret Lagoon it is then onto the Northern Lights where you will hunt probably the most famous natural phenomena Iceland has to offer. When spotted, the Northern Lights will be dancing across the sky in multiple colours dazzling you and the knowledgeable guides will be able to tell you about the science behind the Aurora Borealis and answer any questions you might have.

Please note that as this a combination tour, a complimentary return is not available for this tour if the Northern Lights cannot be seen.
