Visit the Herend Porcelain Manufactory and get to know all you need to about porcelain making technology before exploring Lake Balaton and its surroundings with us. Enjoy the view from the Tihany Abbey and walk along the famous promenade in Balatonfüred on this fascinating tour.
First we take you to Herend, to the world's largest Porcelain Manufactory, founded in 1826. After watching a film about porcelain making technology you will then be taken on a guided tour in the mini factory. This is where all that was seen and heard in the film come to life. There is also a museum where a huge collection of Herend porcelain is exhibited. You are then invited for a coffee after which you will free time for shopping opr simply exploring further.
Next we drive to Lake Balaton, which is the largest fresh-water lake in Central Europe. After showing you the Tihany Abbey (exterior visit) we provide you with free time to have lunch (not included the price).
After we drive to Balatonfüred, which is the oldest spa resort in Hungary, where you will be able to walk along the famous promenade and feed the swans.
Finally, we return to Budapest and the tour ends in the city centre.

Ticket Availability: Fridays only between April and October.
Meeting Time: Please be at meeting point at least 30min before departure time.

Meeting Point: Pick up from all hotels. Please note that if you do not wish to use the pick-up service, please go to the office located at 1054 Budapest Bathory utca 22.
Inclusions: Pick up from hotels, English speaking guide and Herend Porcelain entrance fee.
From 1st April 2020, pick up at hotels will not be longer possible. Clients will be required to arriva at the Cityrama Budapest office. Pick ups are available on a private basis for an additional cost, please contact us for a price.
Exclusions: Drop off at hotels, instead drop off is in Budapest city center (1054 Budapest Deak Ferenc ter), food and drinks, entrance fees except for Herend Porcelain and any other services not mentioned above.
