An unmissable and unforgettable trip into Amish country.

This great day out includes a panoramic tour of Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elfreth's Alley (the oldest inhabited street in America) and other must-see destinations.

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania and to the city of brotherly love: Philadelphia! Arriving in the historic area of Philadelphia we visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, Constitution square and Congress Hall. Stroll Elfreth’s alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America. Continue with a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial district, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia and more.

Departing Philadelphia we see the famous “Rocky Steps” which you can walk up and then continue to Lancaster County, home of the Amish people.

After a break for lunch at the Amish marketplace we embark on an authentic Amish Buggy ride through the Amish farm country and learn how they live without the benefit of modern technology, electricity, running water, telephone service or appliances. In the late afternoon we depart east for an evening arrival in New York.

TOUR INCLUDES: Air conditioned van or bus & professional tour guide, sightseeing in Philadelphia and Amish Country, authentic Amish buggy ride through Amish farm country.

Special Information

• Tour runs year round and departs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
• Tour leaves from 1 central New York location and does not pick-up at hotels.
• Departure is from 777 8th Avenue (Gray Line Visitor Center, betwen 47th & 48th Streets) at 7am.
• Please ensure you are at the agreed pick-up point at least 15mins prior to Tour departure.
• In all standard Coaches you will receive FREE WiFi. (not available in mini-van.) Bus size depends on participating numbers.
• During the winter months (Nov – March)there are luggage restrictions: Luggage is limited to one piece per person with the following dimensions: 21" X 12" X 12" (46cm x 30cm x 30cm) and a maximum of 22 pounds (10 kgs).
